We provide professional training to all our group members that extends beyond the lab. Our group are active participants in the University of Ottawa’s workshops and programs and acquire additional skills ranging from manufacturing to management.

We support initiatives that benefit our local and global communities. (Unions, CEBEGSA, fair compensation, etc). The LRG is proud to support the Blender Development Fund as a gold-level contributor in 2026.

We collaborate with a variety of partners to help our team translate their ideas to industry. Our group members are regularly involved in projects with academic institutes, government research facilities, and established enterprises. We provide opportunities to our team through MITACs, industry internships, and the NSERC Alliance Advantage programs.
